A hug, just because. Laughter that is contagious. A childs love is completely unconditional and pure. When I’m having a difficult day I can often look at one of my children and just remember in an instance the joy they brought into my lives the day they were born. I was blessed to have these children and I wouldn’t change it for the world. A phone call every 5 minutes from my little guy just to say “I love you mom” melts my heart.

Sometimes we must make choices in our lives that affects our children. Seperation, divorce does impact each child no matter how they may or may not show it initially. Be honest with them, but don’t give to many details because they really won’t understand. Tell them you’ll be there to answer any questions they may have, and always let them know that the split up WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. Those few words are so reassuring to a child, they need to know this.

Hug and hold on a little bit longer, your children need that little bit of extra from you!
